At The Safety Place, we believe safety starts with knowledge and grows through community. As Louisiana’s only nonprofit dedicated to safety, injury prevention, and wellness across the lifespan, we are redefining what it means to live well—every day, in every space.
The pin drop in our logo represents an intentional pause. Just like dropping a pin on a map marks an exact place that matters, our pin drop marks the moments where safety decisions happen—before harm occurs. The Safety Place exists to show up at those moments—whether it’s in a car, a home, or a community space—and remind people to pause, look again, and protect what matters most.
Through innovative programs, strong partnerships, and hands‑on learning experiences, we’re transforming how individuals, caregivers, and communities approach safety and wellness. From infants to older adults, our programs meet people where they are—across ages, neighborhoods, and needs.
